Burch Family History

Family Tree and History of Edward Burch (1799-1853) and descendents of Lowndes County, Georgia. 
Lowndes County today is much smaller than in the time of Edward Burch.  Lowndes County was created in 1825 and the area at that time included the present day counties of Lowndes, Cook, Lanier, the western part of Echols, most of Brooks, the eastern part of Colquit, the southern half of Berrien, and the southwest corner of Atkinson.
